New Hampshire Moves Towards Legalizing Medical Marijuana

new hampshire medical marijuanaNew Hampshire Medical Marijuana is finally here! The New Hampshire House voted in favor by a record 286-64 margin to allow sick people to use medical marijuana. The bill would allow patients to cultivate up to three mature plants or obtain cannabis from one of five non-profit, state-regulated alternative treatment centers. While there will still be a long road to go for legalization this is a promising first step. For a state that prides itself on it’s stances regarding  individual liberty it seems strange that it has taken this long to start giving it’s citizens the right to the medicine of their choice. All of it’s neighboring states have similar laws already in effect. I believe that we will see a tidal wave of states jumping on board as public favor is starting to lean heavily towards it
